QEI.si is designed to keep cookie use minimal. At present, the public website intentionally uses only functionality that is necessary for language preference and normal WordPress operation.

A cookie is a small text file stored by a website on your device. Some cookies are necessary for a site to function; others may be used for analytics, advertising or personalisation.
2. QEI language preference
QEI.si uses the qei_lang cookie to remember whether you selected English or Slovenian. It is a functional preference cookie and is set for up to one year.
3. WordPress technical cookies
WordPress may set technical cookies for logged-in administrators and for security or session functions. These are not used by QEI.si for advertising.
4. Analytics and marketing
QEI.si does not currently intentionally set advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies on the public website. If analytics or other non-essential tracking is introduced later, the cookie notice and consent mechanism will be updated before such cookies are used where consent is required.
5. Consent
Slovenian data-protection guidance requires valid consent before non-essential cookies are placed, except for cookies that are strictly necessary or used for transmission of communications.
6. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect language preferences or other site functions.
